Okay, so you’ve got your brand spanking new N71. You’re walking home late night and the overwhelming compulsion comes over you to pull it out in a dark alley and put of that crisp 256k colour TFT display to good use – You need to know what time it is. The next thing you know, you wake up in a hospital, minus said N71, plus 20 stitches. The sad truth is, people like to steal mobile phones. Especially nice shiny new ones. Nokia seem to have cottoned on to this fact, and is looking into fitting its shiny new phones with a special alarm device designed to alert the authorities once your phone has been stolen. The Finish phone giant has got your back, and is currently seeking a patent for a phone than can transmit the exact location of your stolen phone, along with pictures and sound. Currently the patent is for a phone with two emergency buttons that must be pressed simultaneously for a period of time before the footage and location of the phone is broadcast to a secure centre, hopefully resulting in the felon being apprehended, and you getting your phone back. Sadly this still doesn’t prevent the whole dark alley/stitches scenario. For that Nokia need to be developing some kind of Automatic Ninja Deployment System TM. are.H Cex Towers
