One of the greatet fighting franchises, Tekken, has been updated.
Many of you already know this, hey... i know. But many of you don't.
The hype of Tekken 5 since it's release on Sony's PS2 may have calmed down a little, but the fan base on the Tekken Arcade will still have you queuing up at your local or favorate arcade complex.
Tekken 5 arcade suffered minor changes which was later renamed Tekken 5.1, included alterations to the character selection screen, life bars and even some changes to some characters move lists.
Tekken 5, Dark Resurrection shows the comeback of Devil Kazuya, Ogre/True Ogre but still remains uncertain if old 'Kunimitsu' will makes an appearance.
New features of Dark Resurrection includes new levels and 2 new characters and many other tweaks to the system:
Dragunov a Russian Sambo Wrestler
Lili from Monaco is a street fighter
Having personally spent many blistered thumb hours on Tekken 5 trying to accomplish the feel and fighting engine of the game, which to some is as-if it were second nature; Countering counters, reversing throws, parrying low attacks, etc.
The Dark Resurrection arcade has hit the malls in Japan towards the end of 2005, though there are no official dates for the UK release. If you was fortunate enough to glimpse the screen at the Tekken arcade at the Atei Arcade show in Earls court this week, you would have seen the queue of people wanting to see the new version.
Though the rest of the target fan-base can be assured that it'll be a hit on the PS3, which is confirmed.
Practice those combos, counters and air juggles, because Dark Resurrection will heading to your local arcade centre before you know it.
