This is the lastest offering from The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and I have to say its excellent. Its a double pack CD with 14 tracks on each. Standout tunes for me are 'Dani California' and 'Especially in Michigan'. Unlike a lot of double disks which consist mostly of filler tracks this one doesnt. Appearently they've written enough for a further 3 albums whilst doing this. They must have got into a serious 'thing'.
Does anyone else have this or are thinking of getting it?

My girlfriend loves the Chilli Peppers and she actually agrees with me for once! I basically think it aint that good, and Jam who normally loves everything unconditionally by teh Chillis actually burned a disc with all the tracks she actually liked off the album on and she only got 8 tracks that she thought were really good... Let me be honest I think they've been on a steady decline, getting less and less funky and more and more boring and sure they can experiment, but it hasnt paid off. Never been one of my fave bands though.
THe first disc of Stadium Arcadium was just painful adn boring with very few interesting tracks, sure some nice bits of guitar and bass work but Anthony is the LAZIEST vocalist in the history of music. Dani California is, to me at least, one of the worst tracks on the album (the worst being I think track 7 on disc 2.... it sounds liek shite RATM I cant remember). THe second disc is much more fun and lively and what I liked about the Chillis. So in all they still seem to be getting old and boring, its better than the last album of course cos By The Way made me laugh at them, and not in the "haha they're so silly with their sausage socks" way. Oh well.
Now Cult of Luna's new album, theres something to love haha.
